How We Created this Raw Glamour Bridal look for Sydney’s Complete Wedding Guide Magazine
Your wedding day should be one of the most special and memorable days of your life. All the planning that goes on behind the scenes may cause some stress and, therefore, the last thing you want to be stressing about too, is your hair and makeup on the big day.
The best advice we can give you is to do your hair and makeup in a way that reflects you. If you don’t feel comfortable wearing your hair up, then let it flow in beautiful waves or if you just hate wearing red lipstick then stick to a gorgeous nude. The point is, while you want to feel extra beautiful on this important day, you still want to feel like yourself and feel comfortable so that you can make it a day (or night) to remember!
Here at Alexami, we are all for using only the most natural and organic products and that includes makeup. We put together a gorgeous, natural bridal makeup look using Alexami Botanique Pure mineral Cosmetics. This is a look anyone can pull off!
For this Bridal look, we wanted to enhance the best features, rather than hide them away under layers of makeup. Shades of champagne and apricot were used to bring out the eyes and a light dusting of bronzer and a soft blush were used to create a beautiful healthy glow to the skin. Start with a Good Foundation
A clear, fresh skin is the perfect base for any makeup look. To start we gently cleanse any dirt or oils off the eyes or face with our Eye Cleansing Oil, enriched with oils like pomegranate and grapeseed to remove all traces of oil, even waterproof mascara, and provide the skin with an antioxidant boost.
Once the face is clean we then apply our Mineral Liquid Foundation in Ivory. You can massage this in with your fingers or gently buff it into the skin with a beauty blender. Our liquid foundations provide flawless coverage, while still allowing your skin to breathe. To find the right shade for you click here.
Bring on that Glow
We wanted to bring our our model’s blue eyes and make that a focal point of the whole look. Our Mineral Pressed Eye Shadows in the shades “olive”, “apricot” and “champagne”, were used to achieve this effect, while staying in our natural theme.
We hope you enjoyed finding out how you can achieve this look yourself. You don’t have to be a soon-to-be bride to take advantage of this look, though! Rock it, no matter what the occasion!
